Her victory in the Epsom Classic delivered a new superstar to British racing, and before long she was captivating race-goers all over the world. She won big races on three continents and competed in seven different countries; she won two Breeders’ Cup races in the USA; and her eyeball-to-eyeball showdown with Alexander Goldrun at Goodwood in August 2006 was universally hailed as one of the greatest races ever.
When she won the Oaks, Ouija Board was the only horse Lord Derby had in training.
